I’ve been involved in Video Production for over 15 years now. I started Simon Malcolm Productions 12 years ago, following 5 years working in media for another organisation. During that time I’ve shot and produced hundreds of videos for corporations, organisations, small businesses and individuals.
What I love the most is having the opportunity to help grow and develop what is important to people – their story. I love seeing people succeed, and getting to work with them during that process is very rewarding.
I also enjoy working with people as an Ideasmith – it’s a made up word, but for me it means I help people dream their way through problems and growth phases in their businesses and lives. One day I went to visit a friend and they told me about their business. I then started to see the potential that lay before them and so I put it on the table as an idea. They have now gone on to put those ideas and more into action, expanding their business exponentially and increasing both their profitability and their market share.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with many clients over the years, including:
• The South Australian Tourism Commission
• The University of Adelaide
• Service to Youth Council
• The Department of Education and Child Development (DECD)
• Dominant Chemicals
• Drakes Supermarkets
• KPM Motorsport
• Lutheran Church of Australia
• Matthew Michalewicz (author)
• Mollydooker Wines
• Protector Alsafe
• VIP Home Services
and many more.
I find the best way to approach any project is to begin with a conversation around a nice cup of coffee. Producing video is not hard. When approached properly it doesn’t take long to see yourself and your product on the screen.
If you’d like to have a chat, you can get started here.
I look forward to the opportunity to have a coffee and a chat with you some time.
